The 14 kilometer Creek is an inlet of the sea that cuts into the land. This Creek has been very important in Dubai's history and its emergence as a top class global city that is where traders and merchants met from nearby nations to conduct trading. The Creek side is also where the first Dubai settlement was build.
The Dubai Museum in the 18th-century Al Fahidi Fort is the oldest existing building in Dubai
